CLTS Implementation in Urban and Peri-Urban Areas: West and Central Africa Region

SLH Rapid Action Learning Papers
July 2018

CLTS by itself is limited and must be accompanied by communication strategies adapted to urban environments.

This Sanitation and Hygiene Hunter-Gatherer Thematic Note discusses implementation of CLTS in urban and peri-urban areas in West and Central Africa. Experiments are underway to implement CLTS in peri-urban environments. One third of the 15 countries present at the workshop have had this experience. This report summarises the good practices of these countries.
