Coordinating Sanitation Approaches to Maximize Impact in Bangladesh

With so many different approaches used to tackle sanitation challenges in developing countries, it can be difficult to see how all the pieces fit together to drive progress.

In Bangladesh, iDE has successfully collaborated with other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to link its market facilitation approaches with customer demand for improved sanitation generated by community approaches to sanitation (CATS) programming. The result is more than 14,000 improved latrines sold in 8 months.
