Equality, inclusion and rights framework

January 2021

This framework defines WaterAid’s position, approach and programme standards, cross-cutting principles, core programme approaches, and thematic/geographic work.

It also outlines how more empowering or transformative outcomes can be achieved through WASH programmes.

The document refers to a range of other guidelines, toolkits and resources that provide more detail on how to apply the framework in practice.

It is available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Two short animations have been created to accompany it.
