Period Posse webinar series on menstruation-related issues

August 2021

This monthly interactive webinar series brings together experts in menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) from across research, policy and practice to discuss key emerging issues. With a global focus, the series has explored diverse topics as they relate to menstruation, including disability, homelessness, the workplace, COVID-19, monitoring, and advocacy. Videos of past webinars and how to register for future ones are available online.

Who is it for? Policy makers, practitioners and researchers interested in different aspects of menstrual health and hygiene programming and research.

Why is it valuable? It discusses emerging topics related to MHH from diverse settings and contexts. Webinars typically showcase programming approaches or practical research findings. The library of past webinar recordings is a useful source of information on specific themes within MHH and includes relative blindspots to help bring attention to them. As webinar recordings with visual slides and audio, they may appeal to stakeholders who prefer this medium to written documents.
